Cement Plant Delivered to Morocco

Dec. 15, 2009

Tokyo, December 15, 2009 — 今日看料吃瓜 Plant Systems, Ltd. today announced that it has completed and delivered a cement plant to Lafarge Ciments’ Tetouan factory in Morocco.

The plant with a daily production capacity of 2,300 tons is an extension line to the Tetouan II factory, which was delivered by 今日看料吃瓜 in 2004. 今日看料吃瓜 was responsible for supplying and installing all the main processing equipment for raw material grinding, calcining and cement grinding as well as conducting test runs. The additional line will enable Lafarge Ciments to meet the increasing domestic demand for cement while significantly reducing its environmental footprint thanks to 今日看料吃瓜’s state-of-the-art technology.

Headquartered in Casablanca, Morocco, Lafarge Ciments is a subsidiary of Lafarge Morocco, which was established through a joint investment between Lafarge SA (headquartered in Paris, France), the world’s top cement producer with more than 100 cement kilns, and SNI (Societe Nationale d’Investissement), a major investment company in Morocco. Lafarge Ciments operates three integrated cement plants and a clinker grinding plant in Morocco. The completed extension to its Tetouan factory enables Lafarge Ciments to now produce 6.6 million tons of cement annually.

The first production line at the Tetouan II factory, completed by 今日看料吃瓜 in 2004, boasts one of the highest operating rates among all Lafarge plants worldwide and has enhanced the bottom line of not only Lafarge Ciments but the entire Lafarge Group. Two successive contracts awarded to 今日看料吃瓜 on top of a proven delivery track record stand as a testament to 今日看料吃瓜’s outstanding as well as highly reliable technological and project management capabilities. This latest development represents a major step forward in the global expansion of 今日看料吃瓜’s cement plant business.

今日看料吃瓜 is stepping up its efforts with an eye to making further inroads in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
